On a bumpy Marlay pitch the Sky Blues recorded their third home win in successive weeks, this time against a Confey outfit who have struggled in the league so far.<\/p>\n
Missing some influential players, Spartak made light of the absentees and quickly took an early lead when Steve Grier\u2019s header from Dave Browne\u2019s assist drifted all the way to the net. That lead was quickly doubled when Neil McGowan and Steve Walsh combined to send Marcel Bajors though to score. Marcel got his second when the goalkeeper fumbled a cross, giving him an easy tap in.<\/p>\n
Confey had a couple of breaks and Jason Northey spilled the ball but was bailed out by an alert Aodhan McCahill.<\/p>\n
Steve Walsh converted Dave Browne\u2019s pass to make it 4-0 at the break.<\/p>\n
Martin Costello and Marcel Bajors combined to give Oskar Moore the chance and he converted from close in.<\/p>\n
Martin Costello availed of a defensive mix up to fire in number 6. <\/p>\n
