A late goal burst by the Sat lads saw off a tiring over 35s outfit, who had given as good as they got until the final quarter.
Goals by Mick Leslie, and Jervis Mulhall with two from Dave Berry made up the scores.
On Sunday a much sharper Tallaght City side had an easy win, making light of the extremely windy conditions to easily outplay the Sky BLues, who showed little appetite for the match
